Springtomize-2-iconItalian developer Filippo Bigarella is currently on vacation in Miami, Florida, according to his latest blog post, but has taken a moment to provide a status update on a few of his jailbreak tweaks. Bigarella notes that, when he returns from his trip, he will submit an update to CleverPin with support for iOS 7 and 64-bit devices.
Springtomize 3 is also a work-in-progress, and is currently about half completed. Bigarella has been working on the third version of the popular tweak since before the iOS 7 jailbreak was released, and the reason it has taken so long is because the useful extension has been developed new from the ground up.
Bigarella elaborated on why Springtomize 3 is taking so long:
This is mainly because of the fact that it’s not an update, at all; it’s a complete rewrite, based on a completely new structure designed to solve many of the technical challenges that a big project like Springtomize brings to the game (and if you’ve ever developed an iOS tweak, you may be able to guess some of them).
Springtomize allows you to customize nearly every aspect of an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, from the home screen and lock screen to the dock and icons. Springtomize 3 is currently in beta testing, and Bigarella promises that users will not be disappointed. When the tweak drops, we’ll let you know.
